Run For Unity

Today on 31st October, on the occasion of birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, also known as the iron man of India, many runs of unity were organised at various places in district South .Runs were organised by Office of District Magistrate South and other departments and NYK.The students of schools ,colleges and other people joined in huge numbers, spreading the message of unity through the run. caps were distributed to the school students. Citizens gathered in huge numbers to spread the message of unity . A run was organised in Asola wildlife Sanctuary to the newly inaugurated Neeli Jheel. More than 150 students participated and were delighted to reach Neeli Jheel which was the end point of the run. They clicked pictures at the selfie stand with the Picturesque backdrop of nature with waterfalls, Rocky slopes and the jheel. All were really motivated during the Run for Unity.
Another run started from DM office Saket to Ambedkar Nagar . The number of participants was approximately 1000. The children came in huge numbers to give the message of unity amongst all. Similarly more runs were organised at Qutub Minar which had good participation and a feeling of unity could be felt in the air. The next run was from DIPSAR to DM Saket office .It also had good participation by students.At all the runs the ambulances with first aid moved along the participants.Lastly the Run for Unity from Qutub Minar to Bhool Bhulaiya was seen with cheerful faces of students with Caps on giving the message of Unity, Flag of India in their hand with slogans of “Bharat mata ki Jai”.
